Research

Our research is a critical component in helping us improve the way we deliver our services, to reach more people, and to demonstrate the importance of program priorities. We place great emphasis on using evidence to continually monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our projects. We constantly share the lessons learned in the course of our interventions with our partners.

We carry out a range of operational research with the aim of better understanding the gaps in, how to increase access to, and acceptability of our interventions.

HEDEN uses quantitative and qualitative approaches to identify the factors underlying the behavioural and social factors which influences uptake of our programmes. We also implement research programme to evaluate the impact of our innovative health and development approaches, on improving access to health outcomes.

We conduct baseline survey and community mapping before our intervention to find out the real issues in the communities.

Advocacy

With partnering organizations and individuals, HEDEN's advocacy efforts raise public awareness, promote policy reform, and encourage behavioural change on community and state-wide levels. By combining advocacy with service, we work for social and systemic change.
